Our general-purpose 45/70 hunting load is shown here. The sizeable wildlife that can be taken by this load includes deer, elk, and moose. It has been demonstrated that the Speer soft point expands consistently and penetrates all brown bears save the largest. Because of its 2.545′′ overall length, cartridges fit well into all lever guns.

With this 400 grain jacketed bullet, recoil falls between our High Power load and our trapdoor safe load. Compared to the more sudden recoil experienced when moving a lighter bullet substantially faster, it can be described as a mild push.
