Tavor TS12 12 gauge shotgun is a gas regulated bullpup shotgun with an innovative design that feeds from one of three (3) individual magazines which can hold four 3 inch shotgun shells or five 2 ¾ inch shotgun shells each. This means that the potential overall capacity from all three (3) individual magazines is 15 rounds plus one additional round in the chamber. The TS12 has a unique feature that automatically loads a round in the chamber once the subsequent loaded magazine is rotated into position. It can be fed and unloaded from either side.
Additional features of the TS12 include four (4) sling attachment points, M-LOK compatible rails, a continuous Picatinny rail on top, Benelli/Beretta choke tube compatibility, and the reliability expected of all IWI products. Although the tavor TS12 gauge has an 18.5 inch barrel, the overall length is still only 28.34 inches.
The TS12 offers an innovative an versatile and compact sporting or home defense shotgun that is optimized for whatever application you need.
Israeli Weapon Industries (IWI) has earned respect in both the civilian and military firearms communities. IWI is known for making robust and reliable weapons suitable for combat in harsh conditions.
Although they make modern versions of some classic firearms like the Galil and the Uzi, IWI is most known for their bull-pup firearms in their Tavor line.
They first came out with the Tavor SAR rifle in 5.56mm NATO, then the Tavor X95 rifle with improved ergonomics, then the Tavor 7 in 308 Win, and now the Tavor TS12 shotgun.
The Tavor TS12 is a bullpup style shotgun that is a reliable and powerful tool at close range. It makes good use of the advantages that come with a bullpup design, such as a rotating magazine that provides a large capacity despite the compact size. This pistol is a perfect choice for tactical shooters looking for a reliable short-range tool. You can choose between two magazines with this shotgun. The TS12’s mag release is a little unusual in that it is located in a tube, which makes it easy to use. The release is a wide button that is easy to find, and the button can be rotated by using a finger. Since the Tavor has three magazines, you can load each tube with shotgun shells, and switch between them easily. The TS12 has a maximum velocity of 1200 fps, so you can take on large arachnids in a single day.
The Tavor TS12 is a 12 gauge shotgun that is adjustable. It fires from three individual tube magazines, each holding four three-inch shells or five two-and-a-half-inch shells. You can load the magazine from either side, and it is designed for left or right-handed use. It has a reversible charging handle and ambidextrous cross bolt safety. The Tavor TS12 is designed to be operated with one hand, but can be converted to a left-handed use

Shotguns usually have tubular magazines under the barrel – this means that shotgun shells are held in the magazine front to end, in a line longways. Therefore, if you wanted high capacity in a shotgun (8 rounds is generally high capacity), then you need a long shotgun. For example, 8 2-3/4″ shogun shells add up to 22″ in length! Adding some extra room for hardware, compressed spring, and follower, this means that the shotgun barrel needs to be about 24″ long – too long for defensive/combat use in small quarters.
Some shotguns are now using detachable box magazines that hold the shotgun shells above each other like standard rifle or pistol magazines. However, these are not always reliable and have similar capacity limitations – an 8 round magazine is still very large.
Not only does IWI’s TS12 Bullpup design allow for a shorter overall length, the TS12 also has a very novel concept: a rotating tubular magazine. This not only triples magazine capacity, it also allows the shooter to select between 3 different types of shotgun shells (e.g. slugs vs buckshot).
